Osteopathy first visit
We will take the time to listen to you and then listen to the messages your body is
telling us.
During the first session, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, so that we may have a better understanding of your current problem.
From a global vision, to a specific focus, we will thoroughly explore the course of your life and the challenges you have faced (injuries, accidents, surgeries, illnesses, stresses, etc.).
To predict well, you must see through two veils – that of the past and that of the future.
A.T. Still, Founder of osteopathy
Osteopathy treatments
The goal of every osteopathy session is to encourage self-regulation by invigorating your body systems to connect as a functional unit.
Each osteopathy session is unique and individually tailored. Whether your problem is an emergency or more chronic in nature, osteopathy helps to remove barriers to stimulate your vital energy.
While addressing the body as a whole, each osteopathic treatment lends special focus to dysfunctional regions or systems. By having a global and a specific focus simultaneously, gentle hands-on techniques guide the body towards equilibrium.
A hand that feels, sees, listens, and knows.

What is osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a practice that aims to reintegrate balance and harmony into your
body.
Osteopathy was founded by surgeon Andrew Taylor Still. Based on an understanding of anatomy and physiology, its objective is to investigate the source from which one’s dysfunctions or pains originate. Rather than focusing only on the presenting discomfort, osteopathy explores the sum of the body’s blockages.
Osteopathy utilizes a gentle approach with a global perspective of all body systems: musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral and cranial. An osteopath applies precise manual techniques to various tissues to encourage increased vascularization. This re-establishes natural functioning and leads to better whole-body balance.
Due to its holistic nature, osteopathy embraces both intervention and prevention philosophies.
