Whether this is your first time seeing an osteopath or you’ve already experienced the benefits of osteopathy, our focus is to satisfy your goals.
During the first session, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, so that we may have a better understanding of your current problem.
From a global vision, to a specific focus, we will thoroughly explore the course of your life and the challenges you have faced (injuries, accidents, surgeries, illnesses, stresses, etc.).
Each osteopathy session is unique and individually tailored. Whether your problem is an emergency or more chronic in nature, osteopathy helps to remove barriers to stimulate your vital energy.
While addressing the body as a whole, each osteopathic treatment lends special focus to dysfunctional regions or systems. By having a global and a specific focus simultaneously, gentle hands-on techniques guide the body towards equilibrium.
Osteopathy can benefit any age group, from newborns to the elderly. These are examples of the problems people consult us for:
Newborns:
Release of tension after birth, help with torticollis, help with plagiocephaly, breastfeeding difficulties, digestion problems, sleep problems.
Children:
Helping balance, improving alignment, dysfunctions related to dental or orthodontic treatment, various discomforts.
Adults:
Tension relief and restoration of balance after an accident, fall or surgery. Reduction of joint, muscle, tendon and bursa discomfort, digestive problems, stress reduction, improved sleep.
Women’s Health:
Tension relief that can arise during and after pregnancy. Preparation for childbirth by relaxing the pelvis and promoting balance. Helping the body heal after caesarean sections, perineal tears, breastfeeding difficulties, stress reduction and improved sleep. Reduction of discomfort and tension that can re-emerge at perimenopause, following pregnancy termination, etc.
In addition to our osteopathy services, we may work with other practitioners in the clinic if you desire a multi-disciplinary approach. We also make referrals and collaborate with other health care professionals as needed.
To learn more about the conditions we see, including back pain and other musculoskeletal problems, as well as headaches, please consult our Conditions tab. If you are suffering from organ problems (digestive issues, menstrual discomfort, etc.) or are interested in treatments for your child, we invite you to contact us to discuss your case and receive multidisciplinary care according to your needs.
“How many sessions can I expect?” Our focus is always to establish the best strategy to achieve relief of your symptoms in the least number of visits possible.

Ève Catherine’s professional approach is remarkable. In addition, the two sessions I attended were very beneficial in terms of my back pain and my stress management. I recommend Eve Catherine as an osteopath without hesitation.

Osteopathy was founded by surgeon Andrew Taylor Still. Based on an understanding of anatomy and physiology, its objective is to investigate the source from which one’s dysfunctions or pains originate. Rather than focusing only on the presenting discomfort, osteopathy explores the sum of the body’s blockages.
Osteopathy utilizes a gentle approach with a global perspective of all body systems: musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral and cranial. An osteopath applies precise manual techniques to various tissues to encourage increased vascularization. This re-establishes natural functioning and leads to better whole-body balance.
Due to its holistic nature, osteopathy embraces both intervention and prevention philosophies.
